We are extremely pleased to have on offer, the pride of our Wuyi Mountain teas. Our traditional Mother tree Da Hong Pao which means "big red robe" in English comes from the original transplanted Mother trees. Our Da Hong Pao is grown very close to the original venerated trees in the prized Zhengyan or middle mountain growing area. We were lucky to secure a small amount of this tea and this is about as close to the original ancient Da Hong Pao as you can get. The flavour profile boasts incredible, sweet floral notes with just the right amount of traditional baking. Our handmade Da Hong Pao has a very strong returning sweetness and lingering aftertaste that will leave you salivating. This tea is hard to find even in the Chinese market place as there is only so much of it produced. Da Hong Pao is our tea farmer’s favourite tea.
