Dong Ding Oolong High Mountain Winter Tea (Taiwan)


Our winter time “Dong Ding” which means "frozen summit" in English is grown at an elevation of 800+ meters and is made in the traditional way. This tea is stir roasted and lightly baked with charcoal to enhance and develop the complex flavour of the tea. The flavour profile has notes of honey, flowers and a touch of grilled corn. The aroma yields sweet floral and honey notes, and has a heavy mouth feeling with a strong sweet lingering aftertaste. This Lugu Mountain tea is one of our all time favourites. This tea is available in 8 gram single packs and a 10 pack 80 gram option.
